Carmen Monge-Montero: Children’s book about improving the mental health of people who have lived cancer experiences
Carmen Monge-Montero shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Hi Network!
On World Mental Health Day, I want to introduce you to “Can-Can and the Adventure of Mìng Island.” This children’s book was created to improve the mental health of people who have lived cancer experiences. It’s a story for everyone because educating ourselves early about empathy, resilience, and understanding helps shape a future where we support each other, even if we never face cancer personally.
Cancer deeply affects mental health, and Can-Can aims to reduce stigma while offering an educational, uplifting journey for both children and adults. It empowers people to navigate complex emotions and fosters compassion for those facing illness.
On this World Mental Health Day, let’s continue the conversation about emotional well-being and build a future where mental health is a priority for everyone.
P.S. Can-Can and the Adventure of Mìng Island is now available in both English and Spanish on Amazon and other places!”
