Patricia LoRusso has received the AACI 2023 Distinguished Scientist Award – Yale Cancer Center

“Patricia LoRusso has received the AACI (Association of American Cancer Institutes) 2023 Distinguished Scientist Award. The AACI Distinguished Scientist Award was created in 2002 to recognize a major contributor to the field of cancer research. Upon accepting the award, Dr. LoRusso presented a heartwarming and gripping personal account of her clinical research career at the AACI annual meeting. Dr. LoRusso was integrally involved in the early development of more than two dozen anti-cancer agents that are now FDA-approved and has pioneered trial designs that have led to more efficient clinical drug development strategies.
