“Yesterday was a truly special evening, spent in the company of loved ones.
I was invited by the African Women in Leadership Organisation (AWLO) as a Special Guest of Honour at their UK chapter inaugural lecture and dinner. I am not a blind femist, but I do believe Africa needs more women in leadership positions, using their voices to create meaningful impact.
It was honour to receive the ‘Phenomenal Woman of Impact‘ Award in recognition of our work in cancer care, through Medicaid Cancer Foundation.
I sincerely appreciate AWLO UK for this recognition and for tirelessly championing women. Well done Dr. Elisha Attai, you have kept this cause going.”
