Dana-Farber shared on X:
“Paolo Tarantino presents research using paired-biopsy multi-omic analysis to uncover target-independent mechanisms of antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) resistance in metastatic breast cancer.”

Paolo Tarantino, Clinical Research Fellow at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, quoted:
“Honored to have the opportunity to present the results from our translational CHARISMA study, unveiling mechanisms of resistance to TOPO1 ADC. A true team work involving the amazing Dana-Farber’s Breast Oncology Center research teams and AstraZeneca Translational Medicine.”
To which, Yuhei Yamaguchi, Medical Oncologist at NCCH, added:
“Important translational research using multi-omics to explore payload resistance, likely a major driver of ADC resistance. In this ADC-rich era, could switching to an ADC with a different payload allow us to later rechallenge with the original payload?”
