“My first ever conference
Thrilled to have been part of ESMO – European Society for Medical Oncology Breast Cancer 2026 for the first time!
Proud to present my poster on Ethnicity-Based Comparative Analysis of Objective Response Rate in 30,000 HR+/HER2− Metastatic Breast Cancer Patients Treated with CDK4/6 Inhibitors: A Real-World Meta-Analysis.
The sessions at ESMOBC2026 highlighted the rapid evolution of personalised medicine, with emerging evidence supporting biomarker-driven sequencing, ctDNA assessment, and therapy de-escalation strategies to optimise efficacy while minimising toxicity and preserving quality of life.
Our project highlights gaps not only in cancer equity, but in healthcare equity more broadly. The underrepresentation of ethnically diverse populations in clinical trials limits the generalisability of clinical findings, underscoring the need for further research and improved representation in oncology studies.
This experience has been deeply insightful and inspiring. I’m very grateful to our mentors Dr Olubukola Ayodele and Aruni Ghose, as well as our amazing team, for their collaboration, support, and guidance throughout this work.
Excited to continue learning, growing, and contributing to oncology research.”
