Urvi Shah: Hiking for Blood Cancer Research as a Hodgkin Lymphoma Survivor

Urvi Shah, Assistant Attending Physician at Myeloma Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, shared on LinkedIn:

“As a 10-year Hodgkin lymphoma survivor, I’ve personally benefitted from research progress. Now as a physician-scientist I am committed to helping advance that research so more patients have better outcomes. This year, I will be joining over 20 woMMen physicians on a long hike over multiple days in the Scottish highlands to support the HealthTree Foundation.

HealthTree Foundation has done incredible work and built programs and software platforms to help people with blood cancer learn more about their diseases, better navigate their care, and seamlessly contribute to lifesaving research.

Please consider supporting HealthTree Foundation by making a donation through my page! In addition, a portion of funds raised will provide a scholarship for an international myeloma physician to attend a key oncology conference investing in the next generation of scientists.”
