- A fantastic plenary session discussing advances in small cell lung cancer – new ways to monitor CNS progression and new ADCs targeting B7-H3. Of course, we need to figure out how these advances can be delivered to our patients in safely and without financial toxicity.
- Aesearch presented by the LUNGevity Foundation team on how patients with early-stage lung cancer and eligible for surgery are choosing perioperative treatments, and why primary care provider involvement in lung cancer screening needs to be ramped up with Michelle Futrell from LUNGevity, Manmeet Ahluwalia, Khalid Qidwai, Fatma Nihan Akkoç Mustafayev, Valerie Bethel, Candice Schottenloher and Logan Spiegelman from Miami Cancer Institute and Brendon Stiles, Alyson Moadel, Vandana Chauhan, (who led the survey), Arjeta Cosaj, Maria Serrano, and Johnna Bakalar,

- Low grade doesn’t mean low impact – presentation by Bellinda King-Kallimanis, discussing ‘poop’ – aka impact of living with low-grade but persistent diarrhea on the lives of people w/ lung cancer. Or as Jill Feldman reminds us – it’s like the constant pebble in the shoe. Early discussion and proactive management of low-grade side effects are key in this new era of therapeutics. Quality of life on cancer treatments matters!
