“The International Journal of Cancer (IJC) has made 222 abstract presentations from World Cancer Congress 2026 available for free download, covering a wide range of topics across:
- Prevention, screening and early detection
- Cancer research and progress
- Health care systems and policies
- Cancer treatment and palliative care
- Tobacco control
- People with lived experience of cancer
Behind every abstract is an author who would like the work to be shared and discussed with peers. From early-career researchers to highly experienced professionals, each author has drawn on evidence they reviewed or generated to explore ways to advance cancer control at a clinical, institutional or systemic level.
We thank all the authors who shared their work and contributed to the scientific programme of World Cancer Congress 2026, and to the International Journal of Cancer, which celebrates its 60th anniversary this year.
