“Vicky Viel Temperley created Fundación Donde Quiero Estar (“Where I Want to Be Foundation”), a UICC member organisation, together with her daughter María de San Martin, after losing her son to cancer in 2006.
The Foundation is dedicated to humanising cancer treatment and improving the quality of life of people living with cancer and their families in Argentina and across Latin America.
Their work is a powerful reminder of the importance of compassion, dignity, and people-centred care throughout the cancer experience.
