“A UICC Technical Fellowship enabled Malaysian researcher Professor Nirmala Bhoo Pathy MD PhD to study Korea’s integrated approach to supporting people after cancer, with Professor Yeol Kim of the National Cancer Center Korea, a UICC member organisation.
Prof. Bhoo-Pathy identified elements that strengthen survivorship and financial navigation in Malaysia, with a focus on return to work, financial resilience, and community reintegration.
