Stephen V Liu, Director of Thoracic Oncology, Chief of the Division of Hematology and Oncology, and Associate Professor at Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center, shared a post on X about a paper by Monique B. Nilsson et al. published in the Journal of Thoracic Oncology:
“More on resistance to ADCs in the Journal of Thoracic Oncology. Studies of T-DXd (HER2 ADC) suggest a wide range of mechanisms, including payload resistance (via SLFN11 loss and copy number gains of ABCC1/MRP1 efflux pump) and HER2 extracellular mutations, not just antigen loss.”
Title: Loss of payload sensitivity and other mechanisms of resistance to T-DXd in HER2-mutant NSCLC: implications for subsequent responsiveness to HER2 TKIs
