Saro Armenian: $6 Million Raised at City of Hope’s Spirit of Life Gala to Advance Cancer Care

Saro Armenian, Barron Hilton Chair and Professor of Pediatrics at City of Hope, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“A week later, the impact of this incredible night still resonates.

I had the honor of speaking at the City of Hope Spirit of Life Gala, where the Music, Film & Entertainment Industry came together to celebrate the incomparable Tom Corson, Co-Chairman and COO of Warner Records, and to raise nearly $6 million (and counting) to advance programs that help our patients thrive, including our outstanding Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Survivorship Program.

It has been a true pleasure getting to know Tom and his family, whose generosity and dedication to improving the lives of patients are deeply inspiring.

As a pediatric oncologist, I am continually moved by the courage of children, teens, and young adults who face cancer with extraordinary resilience. At City of Hope, our commitment extends beyond curing disease. It is about restoring the fullness of life through personalized survivorship care, fertility preservation, integrative oncology, and lifelong community connection.

Our message is one of hope — hope for brighter days and the limitless possibilities of tomorrow.

My sincere thanks to Tom Corson, Warner Records, and everyone who helped make this event, and this movement, possible.”
