Sabine Hazan: WIN Symposium 2026 Brings Global Experts Together for Precision Oncology

Sabine Hazan, CEO at Progenabiome, shared on X:

“Privileged to be amongst these doctors.

WIN Symposium 2026, Providence. Panel 4: Global Precision Oncology: Access, Equity and International Collaboration. WIN Consortium, led by Wafik S. El-Deiry and Razelle Kurzrock.

China is seeing breast cancer rise fast. Dense breasts make mammography a poor first test, so ultrasound is going into the clinic and into yearly screening. Egypt is making the same adaptation. One screen does not fit every woman, or every country.

Stage 0 and stage 1 are where cancer is still beatable. Then the close, from Charles Balch: the West needs to get off its pedestal. Excellent science is happening all over the world. China has the volume and the trials. Colleagues flew in from Sydney, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Mumbai, Cairo, and Amman to put the data on the table.

Wafik S. El-Deiry brought them here. Early detection. Shared data. No pedestals. That is how we get closer. Grateful to sit in that room.”
