Runcie Chidebe: AI-Generated Cancer Education Research Featured at the 2026 GSA Annual Meeting

Runcie Chidebe, Oncology Researcher at Miami University, shared on LinkedIn:

“It was an honour to present our study, ‘Age Differences in Digital Health Information Use and Evaluation of AI-Generated Cancer Patient Education Materials,’ at the 2026 Gerontological Society of America (GSA) Annual Scientific Meeting. It was a special moment when GSA President Prof. Tamara Baker stopped by our poster.

Prof. Baker kindly took the time to listen as I walked her through the study, our methods and our findings. She then asked me a question I struggled to answer, and followed it with insights and advice that gave me new directions for future studies.

To me, this is the beauty of the GSA Annual Scientific Meeting. You spend months preparing to share your findings, and the meeting gives you something back: encouragement from outstanding leaders in the field, and new ways to think about your research questions and methods.

Grateful to my co-authors and Project PINK BLUE for this work.”
