Ravindran Kanesvaran: The Best of Collaborative GU Oncology Education
Ravindran Kanesvaran, Chairman of the Division of Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Centre Singapore, shared a post on LinkedIn by International Urology Cancer Summit, adding:
“With the International Urology Cancer Summit 2025 now successfully concluded, we’re proud to celebrate an energising hybrid gathering led by the amazing Giuseppe Banna. I had the privilege to contribute to this event as co-chair. Across two half-day sessions (afternoon 4 Sept, morning 5 Sept), the programme delivered concise, high-impact updates spanning prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers.
More than 1,100 colleagues joined online, with over 250 participating in person in Portsmouth, underscoring the Summit’s global reach and community spirit. Attendees engaged directly with leading experts through keynotes, rapid-fire evidence reviews and panel discussions, gaining practical insights ready for Monday-morning practice.
The event’s free, open-access model and flexible format widened participation while maintaining rigorous scientific standards. All live sessions were recorded, with on-demand access to follow for the community. Under the able leadership of Giuseppe —together with the scientific committee—the meeting showcased the best of collaborative GU oncology education and set a trajectory for the months ahead of innovation and shared purpose.”
