Growing evidence suggests that tumors entirely above the peritoneal reflection often behave more like sigmoid colon cancers. For low-risk disease, upfront surgery may be adequate, while high-risk features warrant TNT or NACRT. Personalized, risk-adapted decision-making is key.”
