Patricio Polanco, Surgeon-in-Chief at Atrium Health Levine Cancer, Division Chief of Surgical Oncology, and inaugural Richard White Jr. Endowed Professor of Surgery at Wake Forest University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This week we had the privilege to host the Society of Surgical Oncology executive leadership team, president Kenneth Tanabe, president-elect Tari King and CEO Patti Stella, CAE, CHCP at IRCAD North America and Atrium Health Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Charlotte, NC.
We had very insightful and productive discussions in how to advance the field of surgical oncology innovation, education, training and research through the strengthening of academic centers, societal and industry collaborations in healthcare.
Also grateful for the visit of Advocate Health Cancer Service Line leaders: Joseph J. Weber, MD, FACS, FSSO; Nikolaos A. Dallas, MD, MBA, FACS, FSSO and Wesley Papenfuss and the leadership and support of Dionisios Vrochides, MD, PhD, FACS, FRCSC; Brent Matthews and Ruben Mesa, MD.”
