Nataliya Kovalchuk, Clinical Professor at Stanford Radiation Oncology, shared on LinkedIn:
“A heartfelt thank you to Swecare for standing with Ukraine!
This week in Stockholm, SweCare met with a delegation of Ukrainian radiation oncology professionals undergoing RayStation training at RaySearch Laboratories.
We are incredibly grateful for SweCare’s continued partnership with Help Ukraine Group (HUG) and its generous support of Ukrainian radiation oncology during the war.
Together, we have been strengthening cancer care through virtual education, hands-on workshops in Ukraine and Europe, international observerships in Sweden, research mentorship, ESTRO conference participation, national oncology conference, and dosimetry and quality assurance initiatives.
These opportunities are empowering Ukrainian radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and radiation therapists to introduce advanced treatment techniques and bring valuable knowledge back to their patients.
Thank you, SweCare, for believing in Ukrainian professionals and investing in the future of radiation oncology in Ukraine! Your friendship, generosity, and unwavering support mean so much to us.
Together, we are building a stronger future for cancer care in Ukraine, even in the midst of war!”
