Mohamed Emam Sobeih, Co-Chair of Membership Working Group at European School of Oncology College, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“It was a great opportunity to be part of the European Lung Cancer Congress 2026, where I had the privilege of presenting two posters:
- FPN 336P – Younger Age at Diagnosis and High Female Incidence in Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma: A Unique Epidemiological Profile from Industrial Areas in Egypt
- FPN 337P – Efficacy of a Mind-Body Intervention on Psychosocial Burden in Malignant Pleural Mesothelioma: A Randomized Controlled Trial
In addition, I was pleased to contribute to the presentation of a third ePoster conducted by my dear friend Dr. Sarim Hassan:
- Temporal Trends and World Bank Income-Level Disparities in Mortality from Tracheal, Bronchus, and Lung Cancer: Insights from Global Burden of Disease
This experience was not only about sharing research, but also about learning, networking, and exchanging ideas with colleagues from around the world. It was especially meaningful to reconnect and meet amazing friends and collaborators from Egypt, Algeria, and Hong Kong.
A special thank you to my dear friend Dr. Omnia Korani for her great support in designing the posters – your effort truly made a difference.
Looking forward to building on these collaborations and continuing to contribute to advancing thoracic oncology.”
