Mohamed Abdelaal, Assistant Professor Of Medicine at University of Ottawa, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“After such a busy week, I finally had a quiet moment to share our new CMAJ study examining palliative and end-of-life care for adolescents and young adults (AYAs) with cancer. This paper represents the main outcome of phase I of a research program that aims to optimize the quality of palliative care provided to AYAs with cancer in Canada.

I was also pleased to see a high interest level from the media. This research paper was recently highlighted by The Toronto Star.
Then I had a nice interview by Rebecca Zandbergen on CBC radio – Ottawa Morning about what our research findings mean for patients, families, and the health system.
Grateful to all my research colleagues and looking forward to the next project!”
