Michael McNeil, Director of St. Jude Global Palliative Care Program at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“This woman is my hero.
Four years ago, Cabrina McNeil made the decision to go and get her masters in occupational therapy. She spent two years doing the required prerequisite coursework, took the GMAT and got accepted. She then spent the last two years as a full time student and on Friday finished her last day of fieldwork. She is done!
She did this while raising four active, energetic, and busy boys. She did this with a husband who has a demanding job that requires him to be at the hospital or traveling regularly. She did this all with a smile, sharing her compassion and kindness with her patients, her classmates, and her friends and family.
She now has a job lined up doing her dream career and I couldn’t be prouder!”
