Michael Dickinson, Haematologist and Early Phase Clinical Trial PI at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, shared on X:
“Accelerated glofitamab bridging to CAR-T in high-risk R/R lymphoma (n=41): day-12 ORR 80.5%; 92.7% reached CAR-T; CRS 19.5%.
Not the first rapid ramp we’ve seen – easier with IV BsAb PK than SC, where a wider variation of CRS timing is possible.
In Australia we can’t use BsAb as bridging because of the ‘once in a lifetime’ access rule – we don’t want to burn such an active line of treatment just for 1 cycle bridging….We get away with steroids / chemo or RT for most patients when manufacturing turnaround is robust).”
