Mark Hughes Foundation Centre for Brain Cancer Research shared a post on LinkedIn:
“Last night members of our team had the privilege to head to The Brain Cancer Group’s 9th Awareness Raising Event at NSW Parliament House. We really enjoyed the opportunity to meet with members of the community and our collaborators, and also to meet some of our local MPs including Sonia Hornery MP and Kate Washington MP.
Hearing from Professor Nick Pavlakis and Associate Professor Kimberley Alexander was an important reminder about persistence, dedication and commitment in cancer research and the lessons we learn along the way. Thanks to Associate Professor Adrian Lee and Associate Professor Michael Back for hosting and facilitating these important conversations.
The chilly night also gave us the opportunity to wear our Mark Hughes Foundation Beanie for Brain Cancer beanies with pride!
With MHF Centre Director Professor Mike Fay, Experimental Therapeutics Stream Leader Assoicate Professor Paul Tooney and Industry Honours Student (with GenesisCare and The Radiation Oncology Collaborative Network UON) Lily Stein and Linda Drummond MHF Centre Communications and Engagement.”
