“Thank you to the leadership of Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah Health for the tremendous honor of being selected as a recipient of the “Excellence in Collaborative Research Award“, presented at the Huntsman Cancer Institute Annual Awards Dinner today Neli Ulrich Brad Cairns
Just as precision medicine is about the right drug, for the right patient, targeting the right tumor biology, successful research collaboration is about the right team, right questions, right moment and the right research ecosystem. The four collaborators converging in unison for furthering cancer research as exemplified in the four figures holding each other up.
Huntsman Cancer Institute provides exactly the kind of environment-one that nurtures innovation, teamwork, and discovery in the shared mission to improve outcomes for patients with cancer.
I am especially grateful to my long-time colleague and collaborator, Dr. Liang Wang at Moffitt Cancer Center, whose partnership has been instrumental in many of our efforts.
This recognition reflects the dedication of a broader multidisciplinary team working across institutions to advance precision oncology and translational cancer research in prostate cancer research.
While we are honored by this recognition, we view it primarily as encouragement to continue pushing forward. I am confident that our team will continue to grow, and that there is much more to come in our collective efforts to improve outcomes for patients with advanced prostate cancer and other malignancies.”
