What is it?
The MBCGA is inviting male breast cancer survivors and advocates to apply for a partial scholarship to attend the San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) 2026. This initiative ensures that men are seen, heard, and included in the future of breast cancer care and research.
As a scholarship recipient, you will represent the MBCGA by manning their exhibit booth, networking with global leaders, and attending various sessions and events.
What will participants learn?
Participants will gain knowledge from cutting-edge research, expert-led presentations, and academic sessions. You will also learn how to effectively engage with researchers and industry leaders while advocating for male breast cancer awareness on a global stage.
Who is the program designed for?
This programme is specifically designed for men with lived experience of breast cancer and those advocating for male-specific breast cancer awareness and policy.

- Male breast cancer survivors.
- Patient advocates.
Geographic eligibility
Global (Available for advocates from Texas, the Contiguous U.S., Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and International locations).
Format
In-person (Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas).
Duration
4 days (Symposium runs December 8–11, 2026; scholarship recipients must be on-site from December 9 at 11:00 am until December 11 at 5:00 pm).
Scholarships available
Partial Scholarship: Funds are distributed after the programme once all requirements are met and receipts for transportation, lodging, and flights have been submitted.
(Up to $750 for Texas,$1,500 for the U.S., and $2,000 for Canada, Hawaii, Alaska, and International advocates).
