$700,000 Toward Progress – Little Warrior Foundation

Little Warrior Foundation shared a post on LinkedIn:

“$700,000 toward progress.

We’re proud to announce a new grant for Beat Childhood Cancer Foundation to help launch three new clinical trials, including two focused on DFMO, a breakthrough drug now being studied in Ewing’s Sarcoma and Osteosarcoma.

DFMO targets cancer at its source by blocking the pathways tumor cells use to grow and survive. With these new trials, researchers will test its power in combination therapies and maintenance settings to create more effective, less toxic options for kids who need them most.

Real change happens when collaboration meets action.

Read more about this milestone.

P.S. We’d like to give a special thank you to the Battle Brynn Foundation for their generous contribution towards this grant!”

Giselle Sholler, Division Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology/BMT at Penn State Health, shared this post, adding:

“We are so grateful to Little Warrior Foundation for supporting our Beat Childhood Cancer Research Consortium Sarcoma Trials and helping us to create hope for our patients!!”
