King Hussein Cancer Foundation and Center – KHCC shared a post on LinkedIn:
“In the heart of Jordan, the King Hussein Cancer Center stands as a beacon of hope and humanity, whose services extend to provide treatment and healing to cancer patients from Jordan and the region, in a country that embraces many refugees who need ongoing medical care and uninterrupted support.
Rose’s story began at the age of two months, when the changes seemed minor and unworrisome, before it was later revealed that she had cancer, and it was a huge shock to the family.
Today, Rose receives her treatment at the King Hussein Cancer Center, as one of many stories told daily within the center, especially with our fellow refugees who find a haven of healing and hope in it.
On World Refugee Day, we pay tribute to all refugees: we are parents and brothers.”
