Low-income communities, young people, and other vulnerable populations bear the greatest burden of tobacco-related diseases, facing higher exposure, limited access to care, and significant financial hardship. Tobacco not only harms health; it deepens poverty and reinforces inequality. Addressing tobacco use is essential for cancer prevention, health equity, and economic resilience.”
