” Congratulations to MSK physician-scientist Karuna Ganesh and colleagues, who are part of an international team awarded a Cancer Grand Challenges grant – a prestigious global award providing up to $25M over five years to tackle some of the toughest challenges in cancer research.
The team will explore new ways to “rewire” cancer cells and prevent treatment resistance in colorectal cancer, one of the leading causes of cancer-related deaths.
Karuna Ganesh, Physician Scientist at Memorial Sloan Kettering, shared a post by MSKCC, adding:
” Excited to be awarded a Cancer Grand Challenge grant as part of team REWIRE-CAN to develop new approaches to combat cancer plasticity.
Our goal: to see all colorectal cancer patients become colorectal cancer survivors.
