Karen Canfell, Lead of CEC and Professor of Public Health at The Cancer Elimination Collaboration, shared on LinkedIn:
“The Public Health Association of Australia screening conference (Screening 2027) has rapidly grown into an essential scientific and policy discussion forum for disease screening in Australia (and beyond).
Some of the topics in 2027 will include assessing evidence, new approaches to risk-stratification, the role and assessment of new technologies and genomics, implementation and delivery challenges, and the system-level approaches required to achieve population impact and equity.
Join us in Adelaide next March. The abstract deadline has just been extended.
Excited to be co-chairing the scientific committee with Megan Varlow, and thanks so much to the other committee members and to the inimitable Terry Slevin and the PHAA team, especially Tamara Lee Mok.
