Justin Baker: Honored to Be at the St. Jude and WHO Global Action Forum for Palliative Care

Justin Baker, Division Chief of Quality of Life and Pediatric Palliative Care at Stanford University School of Medicine, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Feeling incredibly honored to be here in Dubai at the St. Jude and World Health Organization Global Action Forum for Palliative Care!

I am also deeply grateful to have been able to give an opening plenary on ‘Changing the World Through Compassion, Hope, Wisdom (Leadership) and Grit…with Gratitude’

The energy in the room has been nothing short of electric — leaders, clinicians, and advocates from around the world have come together with one mission: to transform access to palliative care for every person with serious illness, everywhere. The conversations are bold, the collaborations inspiring, and the progress we’re making is nothing short of extraordinary.

I’m humbled to be a part of this global movement and so encouraged by the vision and passion driving us forward. There’s still so much work to do, but the momentum here is real — and the future for children and families facing serious illness is brighter because of it.”
