After the event he stated, event brought together participants in person and virtually to hear breast and gynecologic cancer survivors share their experiences. Their stories highlighted the people, families, and communities behind every diagnosis, alongside discussions about awareness, screening, and treatment. The event was co-organized by Kristin MaierMerz, Ashley Schneider, and Lauren Laskowski, who have helped organize it for three years, with contributions from speakers, community partners, and volunteers, and sponsorship from MCW Cancer Center, the Wisconsin Ovarian Cancer Alliance (WOCA), and Milwaukee Area Technical College.

“A special thank you to our incredible survivors for sharing their personal journeys with such courage and openness. Your stories are the heart of this event and remind us why these conversations matter. Thank you to all our speakers, community partners, volunteers, and everyone who joined us in person and virtually! Behind every cancer statistic is a person, a family, and a story.”
