“IARC hosted the third Working Group meeting of the European Commission Initiative on Gastric Cancer (EC-GaC) as part of the EU-GAINS project and achieved alignment across three key topics:
- Reviewing and approving the systematic review protocols
- Refining the outcome descriptors to measure the quality and impact of H. pylori screen-and-treat guidelines
- Training the Working Group experts on setting judgement thresholds for evidence certainty
EU-Gains is the European guidelines and quality assurance on primary prevention of gastric cancer and third report on the status of implementation of the Council Recommendations on cancer screening.”
