“New study by IARC and collaborators provides detailed estimates of hundreds of billions in lost contributions from paid and unpaid work globally. This loss in societal contributions from premature cancer deaths is due to productivity loss among individuals of working age (15-64 years) for 36 cancers in 185 countries.”
