“Cereals and cancer risk
Ultra processed food
Processed breakfast cereals and cancer risk
The video is in two and a half minutes…
The bottom line:
Processed breakfast cereals increase the risk of many cancers due to their carcinogenic content.
Details:
A very large number of processed breakfast cereals that our children eat for breakfast are classified as ultra-processed foods, which contain carcinogens and increase the risk of many heart diseases, diabetes, and cancer as well.
What is the solution?
Instead of relying on processed breakfast cereals, we try to get our kids used to sugar-free breakfast cereals and additives and also replace them with natural alternatives such as regular oats with fresh fruits or nuts.
Parents should take the responsibility of healthy nutrition for their children seriously to avoid the risk of cancer and other serious diseases.
Rationing and minimizing the consumption of these dangerous foods as much as possible is better if we cannot prevent these harmful foods from affecting our children (and quitting altogether is of course better).”
