“A Distinguished Visit to Hope Oncology and Surgical Center.
Today, we were honored to welcome Dr. William Dale, George Tsai Family Chair in Geriatric Oncology, Professor and Vice Chair for Academic Affairs, Supportive Care Medicine at City of Hope, USA, to Hope Oncology and Surgical Center.
During his visit, Dr. Dale engaged in meaningful discussions with our clinical team on important aspects of comprehensive cancer care, including pain management, palliative care, supportive oncology, and improving quality of life for patients living with cancer.
The discussions also highlighted the importance of integrating multidisciplinary support services such as social work, psychological support, and psychiatric care to address the physical, emotional, and social needs of cancer patients and their families.
