Hadieh Eslampanah: Turning Tehran Gold for Childhood Cancer Awareness

Hadieh Eslampanah, Director of International Development and  Communications Department at MAHAK, shared an update from MAHAK Charity, on LinkedIn, adding:

“I’m pleased to announce that our ‘Turn the World Gold’ campaign for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month has officially been launched at Mahak.

On the first night of the campaign, three iconic landmarks across Tehran – the Nature Bridge, Azadi Tower, and Milad Tower – turned gold in solidarity with children and families affected by cancer.

We are proud to join this global movement alongside our strategic partners, SIOP and CCI, to turn awareness into action and drive meaningful impact in pediatric cancer care.

Together, we can raise awareness, inspire action, and make a real difference in the lives of children with cancer and their families.

‘Turn the World Gold. Turn Awareness into Action’.”

Quoting MAHAK Charity:

“Coinciding with the beginning of September, Children’s Cancer Awareness Month, Tehran became golden.

On this night, the Nature Bridge, Azadi Tower, and Milad Tower were turned golden in support of MAHAK to remind citizens of the message of childhood cancer awareness.

Every year, September is World Children’s Cancer Awareness Month, an opportunity to raise public awareness about the disease and support children with cancer and their families. In 2026, a global campaign will be held with the slogan ‘Together, Make the World Golden.’

At the beginning of this month, Mahak Charity Foundation is trying to draw the attention of the community to the importance of pediatric cancer recognition, early diagnosis, and support for children with cancer.

During Pediatric Cancer Awareness Month, MAHAK invites everyone to contribute to making the world golden for children with cancer by informing and participating.”
