Gianluca Franceschini: Sharing Skills and Connecting Experiences at the GIMSeno Breast Club Day

Gianluca Franceschini, Full Professor of General Surgery and Director of the Master’s Program in Integrated Therapies for Female Oncological Pathologies at Catholic University of the Sacred Heart, shared on LinkedIn:

“BREAST CLUB DAY | GIMSeno

One day. A network. Many Breast Units connected.

The first GIMSeno Breast Club Day brought together professionals from different Breast Units, at the Gemelli Polyclinic and connected remotely from other centers.

A multidisciplinary comparison, made up of shared experiences, different skills and in-depth analysis of the most current issues in senology.

In the morning, the 27th Breast Club on the role of Interventional Radiology in the path of the patient with breast cancer, with Paolo Belli, Roberto Iezzi, Alessandro Maresca and the prestigious introduction of Evis Sala.

In the afternoon, the stimulating lecture of Nicola Rocco, from the University of Naples Federico II, dedicated to nipple-sparing mastectomy.

The message of the day was clear:

the Breast Units must not remain isolated.
They must be increasingly connected and work as a team.

Thanks to all the colleagues who participated, in person and remotely, helping to grow GIMSeno.

Sharing skills. Connect experiences. Taking care of our patients together.”
