“Grateful to Share My CellBio25 Experience!
I’m excited to share that I recently attended and presented at the American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was an inspiring gathering of scientists from across the globe, and being part of it was truly an honor.
I had the opportunity to present one of my lab’s research projects on UT transporters, discussing their role in osmoregulation and their broader implications for human health. Sharing our findings and receiving insightful feedback from fellow researchers was incredibly enriching.
I also participated in the 2-Minute Flash Talk Competition, where researchers delivered clear, engaging summaries of their work. It was a fantastic chance to refine concise science communication and connect with colleagues exploring exciting and diverse topics.
The roundtable sessions, poster presentations, and group discussions offered meaningful opportunities to learn from others. I gained valuable perspectives that will help me think more creatively, strengthen my scientific approach, and navigate future research challenges.
As a member of the COMPASS Committee, I also joined fellow committee members for a productive meeting focused on new ideas and long-term strategies to support early-career scientists. We discussed ways to provide relevant guidance, share opportunities, and contribute to a stronger, more connected scientific community.
Overall, the conference was filled with learning, collaboration, and inspiration. I’m grateful to the organizers for hosting such an impactful event and to everyone (Moruf Busari, MIKAIL RASHEED Innocent Osuya Ive-Anwuli Ralph-Uyalor David Oke, OncoDaily and all others) who contributed to the conversations that made it memorable.
Looking forward to applying these insights and continuing to grow in this field!”
