Emma Kemp, Senior Research Fellow at Flinders University, shared a post on LinkedIn about a recent paper she co-authored with colleagues published in Springer Nature Link:
“I’m so pleased to share our newly published scoping review: ‘Factors associated with employment outcomes in cancer survivors: a systematic scoping review spanning a decade of international research‘
- Our synthesis of globally conducted research examining factors associated with employment outcomes in adult cancer survivors indicates:
 - Symptom burden, functional status, employment type, and sociodemographic factors are important factors to identify survivors in need of employment-related information and support
 - Urgent need for employment interventions to move beyond workplace-specific interventions to systemic approaches implemented via policy and legislation
 - Future research needs to address gaps in people with advanced cancer vulnerable groups, and lower resource settings.

Huge thanks to the fantastic team who pulled together this review!”
