Éléonore Caroit, Minister Delegate for Francophonie, International Partnerships and French Nationals Abroad, shared on LinkedIn:
“As part of my trip to Egypt, I had the opportunity to visit the Gustave Roussy International – Egypt Center, the first international location of the Gustave Roussy Institute.
The establishment is an emblematic achievement of Franco-Egyptian cooperation in the field of health.
With its 300 beds and its high-level oncology care offer, it is destined to become a reference centre for Egypt and the entire region.
I also welcomed the agreement signed on 30 June between France and Gustave Roussy International Egypt, which now allows for the local care of Gazan children suffering from cancer and requiring highly specialized expertise.
I would like to thank the medical teams for their daily commitment, as well as the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population for its decisive involvement in this project.”
