Dilyara Kaidarova, First Prorector of the Asfendiyarov Kazakh National Medical University, shared on LinkedIn:
“September is Gynecological Cancer Awareness Month.
Gynecological cancers include ovarian, endometrial, cervical, vulval and vaginal cancers. Greater awareness of these diseases, attention to changes in the body, and timely access to medical care are important components of protecting women’s health.
Kazakhstan Cancer Society encourages women to take an active role in their health, attend recommended check-ups and screening, and seek medical advice if they notice unusual or persistent changes.
Awareness is the first step towards timely action.”
