More about the objectives of CNIC-led project

The TARGET-DC project aims to discover novel dendritic cell regulatory molecules that could strengthen antitumor immunity.

By combining genomic analysis, animal models, and human samples, researchers will investigate dendritic cell – T-cell interactions and develop antibodies to modulate these pathways. The project seeks to advance promising discoveries from basic research to preclinical validation, potentially improving immunotherapy responses and addressing

  • treatment resistance
  • tumor progression
  • relapse.

It also aims to support personalized cancer treatment and facilitate clinical translation through patent development and collaboration with pharmaceutical industry partners.
