Childhood Cancer International Europe shared on LinkedIn:
“Specialised care cannot be available everywhere. But access to it can be.
And this responsibility should not fall on families alone.
They should not have to find their own way through different healthcare systems or shoulder the cost of accessing care abroad.

European collaboration must create pathways that connect children to the care they need, wherever it is available.
But creating a pathway is not enough.
It needs to work in practice, with clear processes, coordination and sustainable funding.
