Thanking Our Partners for Supporting the CCI Annual Conference in San Antonio – Childhood Cancer International

Childhood Cancer International – CCI shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Thank you for being part of San Antonio

A few weeks on, we’re sharing a selection of photos from the CCI Annual Conference – and taking a moment to thank everyone who contributed to the week and made it such a valuable gathering.

A very special thank you to International Society of Paediatric Oncology for making it possible for us to hold the CCI Annual Conference alongside the SIOP Congress. While we each bring a different perspective to the childhood cancer community, being together creates unique opportunities to listen, learn from one another and bring the professional and lived-experience perspectives into the same conversations. We are truly grateful for the openness, collaboration and support that make this connection possible.

We are especially grateful to the Sanofi Foundation, our long-term partner, for making the launch of Home Away From Home 3.0 possible and for continuing to support CCI in this important programme.

Thank you to ACT 4 Children, another highly valued partner of ours, for their continuous support, and for bringing their Side Event to San Antonio which kicked off the week with important conversations around building systems, empowering families and improving outcomes.

A very special thank you to CCI North America Regional Committee for supporting us throughout the organisation of the conference, sharing their local knowledge and helping make San Antonio possible for CCI, while bringing the North American regional perspective into the programme.

Thank you also to Cuddles Foundation, CCI’s partner in the Global Nutrition Trainings, for contributing to our Education Day Nutrition workshop.

And, of course, thank you to our members, speakers, survivors, parents, advocates and colleagues who came together in San Antonio and contributed their knowledge, experience and ideas.

We are grateful for the conversations, connections and collaborations — and look forward to taking them forward.

View a selection of moments.”
