Carolyn Taylor: The GINO Global Practice Framework For Patient Navigation in Cancer Care

Carolyn Taylor, Founder and Executive Director of Global Focus on Cancer (GFC), shared a post on LinkedIn:

“Pleased to share the GINO global practice framework for patient navigation in cancer care – developed through consensus with 81 experts across 29 countries.

This work clarifies the scope of navigation practice, from addressing barriers and coordinating care to psychosocial support, empowerment, and advocacy – helping strengthen implementation, workforce development, and equity in cancer systems globally.

Grateful to my co-authors and the MASCC GINO Patient Navigation Working Group for the collaboration, rigor, and shared commitment to advancing navigation worldwide.

Proud to contribute to this work representing Global Focus on Cancer and a lived experience lens.”
