Binay Shah, Co-Founder, President and CEO at Binaytara, shared a post on LinkedIn:
“A dream that once felt distant is becoming real.
Our consultant team informed us that the Department of Urban Development and Building Construction (DUDBC), Government of Nepal, has approved the architectural drawings for the future 200-bed Binaytara Cancer Hospital.
This will be the first dedicated cancer hospital in Madhesh Province – a region with more than 6 million people, where many patients currently travel long distances, often across borders, to receive cancer treatment.
In the first phase of the project, we plan to establish a Radiation Oncology program so patients can access lifesaving radiation treatment closer to home.
We still have a long journey ahead, but today marks an important milestone toward building a comprehensive cancer center for patient care, education, and research in Nepal.
Thank you to everyone who has supported this vision.”
