“Back from an energizing trip to China last week with Thomas Triomphe and Olivier Charmeil. After three days, here are my top takeaways.
- China’s innovation capacity is truly impressive and leveraging this local innovation will be one of the key pillars to Sanofi’s future success. Its vibrant ecosystem combines decision-making with speed and agility, pro-innovation policies, and exceptional talent.
- Our local teams drive our purpose forward. I connected with 3,000+ employees during our fireside chat and watched three groundbreaking demonstrations of our AI capabilities. Witnessing our four-decade journey in China come to life through the work of our people was the highlight of my trip.
- What’s being built here today is a glimpse of what’s possible for patients. As science and technology converge at a speed that completely reshapes how we innovate, it’s a powerful reminder of why we do this work: for the patients around the world counting on us to move faster, think bolder, and deliver. Innovation is the most powerful expression of our commitment to them.
