“I had the great honor of attending the ‘Empowering Future Leaders in Early Detection and Health Promotion’ conference, organized by the Jordan Breast Cancer Program (JBCP) at the Shoman Auditorium, King Hussein Cancer Center, on September 22, 2025.
The event brought together medical students and young healthcare professionals to connect, share knowledge, and learn about the vital role of early detection in the fight against breast cancer. It was a powerful reminder that early detection isn’t just a medical step – it’s a life-saving action that can greatly improve treatment outcomes and survival rates.
I’m truly thankful to Dr. Reem Al-Ajlouni for her amazing efforts, dedication, and inspiring leadership in empowering young healthcare professionals and promoting a culture of awareness and proactive health education.
