“Heartiest congratulations to Dr. Ayushi Verma on the successful defense of her Ph.D. thesis on gliomas (brain tumors). Ayushi’s Ph.D. journey has been truly remarkable with 11 publications4 patents (including 1 granted), and presentations at 3 international conferences reflect her dedication and scientific rigor. She also marks my 30th Ph.D. graduate.

We are deeply grateful to our genomics collaborator Dr. Prashant Kumar for his significant contribution to gliomas proteogenomics analysis, which will be India’s first such comprehensive study. Sincere thanks also to Dr. Ali and Dr. Sridhar from Tata Memorial Hospital (TMH) for their valuable support.

We were privileged to have Prof. Paturu KondaiahSri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Centre, Bengaluru; former Professor at IISc, as the external examiner. We were equally fortunate to hear his insightful seminar on ‘Differential DNA Methylation in Recurrent Glioblastoma.’
